THE all-new 2019 Subaru Forester is officially on the road and while it is slightly refined the 2018 model, the classic and solid design remains a top competitor in the market.
Subaru has incorporated innovative safety elements into the Forester such as driver facial recognition technology, reverse automatic braking and the eyesight driver assist system – ensuring the 2019 model remains at the forefront of driver safety.
The Forester is built on the Subaru Global Platform which claims to deliver a low centre of gravity, a quieter drive and more responsive control on road.
The family vehicle boasts a spacious cabin with enough room for the whole family and plenty of storage space for a weekend getaway or just a trip around town.
Equipped with a 6.5inch LCD touch screen in the base models and a 8-inch screen in the top of the range vehicle featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity in addition to satellite navigation, the infotainment and entertainment capabilities are up there with the best.
Available in three models – the 2.5i-l AWD, 2.5i Premium AWD and the 2.5i-S AWD, there’s a Forester fit for any price range.
All models are fitted with a 2.5l Boxer 4-cylinder, direct injection petrol engine with a Lineartronic CVT with manual mode transmission.
Dual zone climate control, an electronic parking brake, paddle gears shifters and one touch lane indicators are some of the other bonuses available in the Forester.
