Beach Energy opens new regional office in Penola

OPEN FOR BUSINESS: Beach Energy exploration and appraisal services general manager Glenn Toogood (right) has officially opened the Penola oil and gas company’s Penola office. The office was constructed by John Tregenza (not pictured) under the instruction of architect Meg Redman (left).

BEACH Energy has recently opened a new regional office in Penola, cementing the company’s commitment to operating within the South East.

The company’s exploration and appraisal services general manager Glenn Toogood said the newly constructed regional office would house recently appointed South East regional manager Jon Conti, in addition to receptionist/administration services adviser Emily Winter and various project related staff.

Mr Toogood said the regional Penola office would provide the community with a central location to communicate with Beach Energy and discuss its activities, as well as provide functional serviceability to the company’s South East operations.

The state-of-the-art office was constructed by local builder John Tregenza under the guidance of architect and project manager Meg Redman.

It supports a high degree of technological innovation to allow strong, reliable communication links back to Adelaide and other parts of Beach Energy’s operations within Australia and New Zealand.

“Beach has a proud history operating in the region and the location of the new regional headquarters for the company in Penola recognises the support the town has provided to the sector developing natural gas resources over the past 30 years,” Mr Toogood said.

The office is open between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
