ENROLMENTS for the annual learn-to-swim lessons at the Millicent Swimming Lake will be accepted on-site between 10am and noon today.
Mount Gambier resident Marcia Hobbs will be the instructor-in-charge for the second consecutive year.
Online bookings had to be made by December 19.
There was community uproar last summer when Millicent looked like losing its lessons due to low enrolments and scarcity of instructors.
However, alternative arrangements were made by Royal Lifesaving SA and the lessons proceeded at Millicent under the leadership of Ms Hobbs.
The VACSWIM SA lessons are held each week day from January 2-10.
The State Government supported initiative provides children with opportunities to develop a range of skills and positive experiences in water safety.
