A YOUNG Mount Gambier man was taken to hospital with minor injuries yesterday after rolling his car at the intersection of Pick Avenue and Jubilee Highway East.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 12.30pm and found a single vehicle at rest on its roof on the side of the road.

Mount Gambier Police Duty Sergeant Andrew Beaufort said the man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

“Police will continue to make enquiries with witnesses to determine the cause of the crash,” Sgt Beaufort said.

Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) station officer Adrian Puust said one truck attended the scene, however no rescue was required.
