Harmonic delight

ON THE ROAD: The Sherrahs will perform at Rendelsham on Saturday.

HARMONIC family band The Sherrahs will bring a wide array of classic hits to Rendelsham Community Hall on Saturday night.

The Adelaide band will hit the stage from 7.30pm, recreating hit songs from the likes of The Eagles, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Seekers, Oakridge Boys and Sons of the Pioneers, along with well-known Australian and New Zealand classics.

One of the highlights of the show is The Sherrahs’ variety of harmony songs and styles.

“It’s amazing how many of these tunes we grew up with either first-hand or through our folks’ record collections,” Steve Sherrah said.

“These are tunes people will know and can sing along to.”

The band’s vocal approach to harmony is one of its strongest pillars and although all four members met in Tamworth, their style is heavily influenced from their surroundings in country Victoria and New Zealand.

The Sherrahs are made up of two couples – Steven and Michelle Sherrah and Anthony and Tracy Stewart.
