THE entertaining Mount Gambier Food and Wine Pop-Up Bar will be held this month to bring the community together to indulge in a variety of delicious local produce.

Hosted by Koonara Wines, the January 19 event will involve a relaxed evening under the stars at The Rail with wine provided by Koonara Wines, Patrick of Coonawarra, Giggling Goose Wines and the Norfolk Rise vineyard.

The Cide Project will also showcase its popular beer and cider with live entertainment provided by Tank Dilemma and DJ Justin.

“It will be a family-friendly environment and offer a fantastic space for friends to catch up after the holiday period over local food and wine,” Koonara Wines media and public relations manager Sally McDonald said.

Children will be able to enjoy copious amounts of activities including mini-golf and face painting.

The event will run from 4pm until 9pm with the community encouraged to come out for a night of relaxation.

“Come along and support a great night,” Ms McDonald said.
