DESPITE threatening weather and rain most of the morning, 14 dedicated bowlers showed up for Millicent’s 2-4-2.
the weather then duly played its part, with a fine afternoon to enjoy.
Of the six teams, two were triples and Ros Varcoe, David Botting and Bill Burdon took out first place with a score of 33+15.
Ross Warren, Peter Bateman and Robert Radley finished runners-up with a score of 32+4, while the other winning team for the day was Derk Pietersma and Peter Varcoe.
