Hoops holiday tournament

THIS October school holidays, as part of the Wattle Range Council’s school holiday program, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be staged within the Millicent Domain parklands.

The divisions and draw for the tournament, which is to be held in partnership with the Millicent District Basketball Association on October 7, will be determined on receipt of team nominations.

Nomination forms are available on the Wattle Range Council website, Millicent Visitor Information Centre and Facebook.

Wattle Range Council Director Development Services, Emma Clay, was pleased to announce the event.

“We are really excited to bring, at long last, a 3 on 3 basketball format to Millicent for the October school holidays,” she said.

“The competition is free to enter and we have some great prize money up for grabs.”

Due to COVID restrictions, nomination forms must be returned to Council by Wednesday, September 30 2021.
