Dunn claims memorial handicap trophy

THE Garry Clifford Memorial Handicap Shoot was recently held at Burrungule Park, with 60 competitors nominated for the sporting clays event.

In perfect winter weather conditions, the event was sponsored by South East Marine and Motorcycles.

Leigh Dunn won the Garry Clifford Handicap Trophy sponsored by E and L Scheidl.

The Gambier Shooting Supplies High Gun was won by Chris Wright with 48/50, while Jeremy Kent won the sub-gauge Compak event with 20/20.

Results – High Gun: Chris Wright.

Handicap High Gun: Leigh Dunn, Graeme James, Wayne Evans.

AA Grade: Steven Scheidl, Daniel Ashby, Dane Hastings.

A Grade: Richard Emmerson, Brian Shelton, Tom Weir.

B Grade: Tim Lloyd, Michael Gates, Charles Wallis.

C Grade: Frank Kentish, Alex Lyon, Lachie Hood.

Senior: Bruce Oakley, Greg Kessegian, Ernie Scheidl.

Veteran: Kevin Dyson, Robert Jones, Robert Simson.

Ladies: Sonya Vanderhorst, Bernie Peters, Nicola Harradine.

Junior: Brodie Vonstanke-Dowie, Declan Wright, Zoe Ashby.

Sub-Junior: Shakielle Von Stanke, Kain Ashby.
