THE mystery winner of a $1m Saturday X Lotto ticket purchased in Naracoorte has yet to come forward.
The ticket, which was not registered when it was purchased at newsXpress Naracoorte, was the division one winning entry from the July 18, 2020 draw, netting $1,053,905.78.
The Lott officials have no way of contacting the winner and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
In South Australia, division one winners have 12 months to claim their prize directly from SA Lotteries.
After this deadline, there is a process to claim prize money from the Lotteries Commission of South Australia, which incurs a cost.
newsXpress Naracoorte owner Selina Southern said they’re yet to hear from the person holding the division one winning ticket.
“We still have people coming in daily checking their old tickets, hoping they’re our mystery millionaire,” Ms Southern said.
“Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to unite our winner with their prize yet – but, we’re still very hopeful.”
