Loyal to the red and white

200 GAMER: Braydn Reilly has clocked up 200 games for his beloved Tantanoola Tigers.

BRAYDN Reilly ran out last Saturday in his 200th A Grade appearance for his beloved Tantanoola Tigers in the Mid South East football Round 1 clash at the Robe oval.

Reilly is known as a loyal club person, having started his playing career in the red and white in the Junior Colts in the early 2000s.

It did not take long for him to have success in his football career, playing in the Senior Colts’ flag in 2006, a season where he also took out the league leading goal kicker award with 69 goals.

He played his first game of senior football that year, getting a taste under then coach Adam Walden.

He once again won the club’s Senior Colts leading goal kicker in 2007 in a year he got to taste a lot more game time in the A Grade, playing in a losing grand final team.

His hard working attitude on the field has seen him be a leader of the club as either a captain or vice captain as well as winning numerous club awards in his playing career.

Those awards include A Grade most improved, 2008, A Grade best team man, 2009-2010, A Grade coach’s trophy, 2013, A Grade most consistent, 2014, A Grade best utility, 2017, A Grade most consistent, 2018 and A Grade best team man, 2019.

Reilly is often called upon to play in a variety of positions all over the ground and loves the challenge of playing against some of the opposition’s best big men each week.
