A LIVELY group of 15 women recently gathered for a dinner in Mount Gambier to fondly recall their days as Millicent High School students six decades ago.
Those present had attended the school between 1959 and 1963.
For some, the school had been located at what is now the current Wattle Range Council chambers while the later students had enrolled at the newer premises on Mount Burr Road.
The first reunion of this group was held in 2012 with six old scholars and it has since expanded to become an annual event.
It alternates between Millicent and Mount Gambier.
