KIMMI Varcoe is set to steal the spotlight when she represents South Australia at the prestigious Myer Fashions on the Field national competition.
The 25-year-old Millicent resident was named the overall winner of the state final after competing at the Murray Bridge Gold Cup event and hopes to impress judges at Kennedy’s Oak Day on November 8.
She found inspiration for her Murray Bridge outfit on Vogue and was inspired by the pleated styles.
“It is all about frills and flowers,” she said.
“Mum (Helen Varcoe) handmade the flowers on my hat and we enjoyed working with the pleats to create the dress by Di McLaughlin.”
