Brand’s to host burgers and beats event

READY TO GO: Brand’s Laira winemaker Amy Blackburn is gearing up for the Burgers and Beats event next weekend.

BRAND’S Laira’s biggest event of the Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations, Burgers and Beats, is on again this month.

Held on the lawn of the estate, the event will showcase all that Coonawarra has to offer with live music, refreshing drinks and a great supply of food.

Say Grace Café will cater the event with gourmet burgers to pair with Brand’s award-winning wines.

Patrons can relax on the lawns to the sound of Still Krazy with family and friends.

Chief winemaker Peter Weinberg said he was excited for the vineyard’s main event.

“This is always a really popular event for us each year,” he said.

“It’s just a chance to come and check out not only Brand’s Laira, but also the Coonawarra region.

“At the Burgers and Beats event, patrons can experience a relaxing environment with good live music and great food and wine.”

Entry is free with food and drink priced between $6 and $12.

Burgers and Beats will be held October 13, starting at 11am.

Bookings are not essential but are encouraged for larger groups.
