Wealth for toil in lucky country

FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT: Noodle Sushi Bar owners Saw Myo and Saw Khain have expanded their business. The Karen refugees opened a second outlet in the Mount Gambier Marketplace last month.

FOR Karen refugees Saw Khain and Saw Myo, working nine hours a day, six days a week is easy compared to the gruelling work they are accustomed to.

“We used to work around 13 hours a day every day of the week with only two days per month off,” Saw Myo said.

The pair now owns and manages Mount Gambier’s Noodle Sushi Bar
