Volkswagen T-Cross

VOLKSWAGEN’S smallest and most affordable SUV to date has recently hit the market, offering a real bang for people’s buck.

The T-Cross has been pitched as the sector’s newest European-badged rival, competing against an ever-expanding range of popular family crossovers.

Based on the world-class company’s compact and stylish Polo model, the T-Cross will not disappoint, featuring all the latest technology, safety features and premium quality bundled-up into a neat and versatile package.

There are two convenient T-Cross derivatives available for consumers including the entry-level 85TSI Life version or premium 85TSI Style model.

Both use the Polo’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine making 85kW and 200Nm, mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic and front-wheel drive.

A flagship 110TSI Style derivative with a 110kW/250Nm 1.5-litre engine is also expected to arrive in June.

From its eye-catching range of colours to its spacious interior, the T-Cross is undeniably unforgettable.

The car ticks both visual and practicality boxes featuring 16-inch alloys, manual air-conditioning, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, four USB ports, 8.0-inch touchscreen and reversing camera which will make longer cruises even easier.

The T-Cross is every bit an SUV, yet is nimble enough to take on the urban cityscape with ease.

For city-slickers looking to upgrade, the T-Cross also includes all the leading safety mechanisms, leaving you with peace of mind when having to navigate through busy traffic.

Some advanced details include City AEB, pedestrian and cyclist monitoring, lane-departure assist, Driver Fatigue Detection, parking sensors, leather multi-function wheel, static cornering lights, automatic dimming rear-view mirror, automatic headlights, rain-sensing windscreen wipers and low pressure tyre indication.

Innovative and fun, the T-Cross also offers LED tail light clusters which can take drivers from day to night, while strong body contours show off its athletic wheels.
