A NUMBER of changes to vocational education and training in South Australia will provide students and apprentices with a greater selection of subsidised qualifications and more choice about where they study.
Around 50 additional qualifications will be available to be delivered by private registered training organisations in the next update to the state’s WorkReady Subsidised Training List, which comes into effect on January 2.
The qualifications, including courses in construction, engineering, renewable energy and information technology, were previously only offered by TAFE SA.
The State Government continues to prioritise support for apprenticeships.
