SIMONE Westerman has chalked up a major milestone, with 200 senior games for the Mount Burr Netball Club.

Westerman has been part of the club since her juniors.

She had time away from the court to have her children Archie and Grace, who now are Mini Mozzies themselves.

In 2002 she was a regular member of the A Grade side as a 15-year-old.

She has had continued success as a senior player, with many of her games in A Grade, including A Grade playing co-coach in 2023.

Westerman is a past A Reserve coach and is currently co-coach again this year.

She won numerous individual awards as a junior player and in 2005 finished A Reserve runner-up best and fairest and A Grade runner-up in 2008.

In 2014 she won the B Grade best and fairest.

Westerman is a dedicated volunteer who has served on the committee, is a regular umpire and has re-joined the committee as current vice president.

She is often seen at the courts quietly contributing to the club at working bees, as part of the social committee and organises club improvements.

Westerman was the inaugural winner of the Ann Guyett Memorial Award in 2022.

This shows her dedication to her on-court game.

The club congratulates Westerman and looks forward to more years of success on and off the court.
