ROBE faced a no-contest when it hosted Tantanoola for Round 10 of Mid South East football on Saturday.

The 117-point win came from a consistent four-quarter effort, with the opening term suggesting a big margin.

The scoreboard read 51-6 after a quarter of football, with the Tigers facing a huge deficit by that early stage.

Not much improved for the Tigers after the first break, as the margin was extended to 70 points on the back of a five-goal term.

The Roosters then held the Tigers scoreless in the third term, while adding a further three majors and headed to the final stanza with a big 93-point advantage.

The Tigers found more of the ball up forward in the final term, but banged on just one major score and six behinds.

In contrast, the Roosters added another five goals and six behinds to run out emphatic victors.

Jed Jarrett did much of the damage up forward, with six goals for the victors, while Sam Bates, Henry Lawrie and Hamish Smith chipped in with three goals each.

James Dutton and James Francisco kicked two goals each.

Tantanoola’s three goals were shared by Jack Dawe, Troy Hatt and Cade Kelly.
