KALANGADOO continued its recent winning form with a big victory over Kongorong in Round 6 of Mid South East football on Saturday.

A relatively even first term suggested the Hawks were in good form, trailing by just 12 points at the first break.

However, from there it was all about the Magpies, as they began to find their groove and control the contest.

They held the Hawks scoreless in the second term, while adding a further six major scores to lead by 52 points at the main break.

Both sides kicked three goals in the third term, but the Magpies had plenty of possession, with six minor scores as well, while the Hawks only banged on another three behinds.

The final term was not kind to the Hawks, as they were again kept scoreless while the Magpies ran the game out with with six last-quarter goals for a strong victory.

Connor Gentile was in fine touch up forward for the victors with five goals, while Ben Gregory and Lachy Jones kicked three each.

Dylan Bromley, Ethan Maney and Sam McManus kicked two goals each.

For Kongorong, only Luke McIntyre kicked multiple goals, with two to his name.
