THE Penola Bowls Club held its Men’s Handicap Singles on Sunday in fine conditions.
Ken Batt and Roger Gibbs took out the title over father-and-son team Marcus and Brian Deveruex.
In a tight contest, scores were tied at 12-all going into the last end, with Batt getting one shot to win the game.
Meanwhile, Closing Day will be held on April 21 at 1pm sponsored by the Windara Bakery.
The club’s presentation night is on Friday, April 26, with a pooled tea starting at 6.30pm.
