ON Saturday, the Penola Bowls Club held its Men’s Handicap Singles in ideal conditions.
Some excellent games led up to the final, with father and son contesting the grand final.
Brian Devereux was up against son Marcus and could not get over the line, with Marcus taking out the title 25-18.
On Sunday 24 bowlers took to the greens for the Majella Mixed Triples Day.
The winners this year were Marcus Devereux, Jean Rogers and Aiden Mills, ahead of Ken Batt, Jake Rowe and Kaye Batt.
