COUNTRY basketball action returned to the region over the weekend with four games contested in the South East.
The Mount Gambier Lakers men hosted a Round 12 double-header at the Icehouse, playing Warrnambool Seahawks on Saturday night, followed by a clash with Hamilton Hurricanes on Sunday.
A loss and a win was the result for the men, while the Lakers women could not keep up the pace against Warrnambool Mermaids on Saturday and suffered a defeat.
Over in Millicent the Magic men welcomed Hamilton to Peter Seebohm Stadium on Saturday night, where they recorded a strong victory.
