Close games expected

Chelsea Owen will be out to impress when Glencoe takes on Tantanoola this Saturday.

TANTANOOLA V GLENCOE

Glencoe heads to Tantanoola to face off in the match of the round in Mid South East netball on Saturday.

Billed as the match of the round, this one will not disappoint.

Glencoe’s strength in the defensive circle from Sarah Edwards and Chelsea Owen will put the pressure on for Tantanoola’s goalies Emma Gould and Keryl Ousey.

Tantanoola’s Tayla Rowe and Kate Bromley combine well in the circle for the Tigers and will need to work overtime to curb the influence of Glencoe’s Jenna Paproth and Chantelle Cocks, who shoot with accuracy and move fluently in the goal circle together.

Glencoe wing defence Chloe Pfitzner will work hard around the circle edge and make Tantanoola’s Casey Walker earn every pass into the circle, forcing errors and chasing up turnovers.

This match could go either way and both teams will fight hard to secure the win, with an entertaining clash expected.

KALANGADOO V HATHERLEIGH

Hatherleigh travels to Kalangadoo to face off against the undefeated Magpies.

Kalangadoo’s strong goalies Ebony McDiarmid and Abbey Duncan move with ease and are able to shoot with accuracy throughout the circle, meaning that Hatherleigh defenders Maddie Redman and Elly Redden will need to work overtime to limit their shooting opportunities.

Eagles Erin Watson and Lara MacGregor will need to apply pressure around the circle on Magpie mid-courters Chloe and Jayde Peacock to curb their impact and accurate passes into their goalies.

Hatherleigh shooters Demi Vanderhorst and Maddie Pulmer will need to move well in the circle under the pressure of Lara Munro and Lauren Kain.

Kalangadoo’s strength throughout the court will prove too much for the Eagles and they will come away with the win.

NANGWARRY V KONGORONG

Nangwarry hosts Kongorong in what is set to be a close game, as both teams fight to get their first win on the board.

Nangwarry’s defensive duo of Kayla Gray and Carly Ploenges will work overtime to limit the movement of Kongorong’s Tilah Buckingham and Sarah Gardin.

Nangwarry’s Cassie Dinnison and Hawk Rach Perry will battle hard through the mid-court with both fighting to gain possession for their respective teams.

Kongorong defenders Riley Buckingham and Emily Lightbody will use their height to their advantage to limit the opportunities at goal for Hayley Vanderhorst and Tahlia Wilson.

Both teams will come out firing to get the win, and this could go either way.

MOUNT BURR V ROBE

Robe heads to Mount Burr to face the Mozzies in what will be another tough encounter.

Mount Burr goalies Ebony Clark and Lauren Wheeler have proven time and time again they are accurate in the circle, meaning Robe’s defenders Emma Wheal and Georgia Perkins will need to limit their opportunities to score.

Robe goalies Demi Carter and Tori Gluyas combine well in the circle and shoot with accuracy, even under the pressure of Mount Burr’s Megan Thiele and Olivia Dean.

Annie Regnier and Laura Schultz will fight hard through the mid-court to gain possession for their respective teams, feeding with accuracy into their goal circles.

This game will be fought with strength by both teams and has the potential to be close, but Robe will likely come away victorious.
