MOUNT Gambier and Naracoorte will be well represented in the School SA Under 12 hockey competition, with five players from the two regions selected in the side.
The team will compete in the School Sports Championships in Tasmania in August and will face the best juniors from around Australia.
The group will travel to Hobart to compete in the week-long competition.
Kade McCourt, Jesse Mitchell, Jada Copping, Rubi Watson and Harriet Waters were all selected to represent SA after they impressed at the recent trials held in Adelaide.
It is an impressive representation for the Lower and Upper South East regions and shows the strength of junior hockey, with all five athletes competing in the Under 12 and Under 15 competitions in Mount Gambier.
