INTERNATIONAL 7 d APOLLO 0

THERE was just the one game on the Mount in Round 4 of the Limestone Coast Premier League and it was a blockbuster clash between International and Apollo at Casadio Park.

The ever-entertaining rivalry between these two sides was as heated as ever and the hosts cruised to an emphatic seven-goal win.

Federico Pepa scored the opening two goals of the game before Christian Cella made it 3-0 after 34 minutes.

Apollo held on until half time and had a glimmer of hope heading into the second half.

However, Thomas Weedon made it 4–0 just three minutes after the break and from there it was all Inter.

Sam Bueti made it 5-0 after 79 minutes before the game erupted with four yellow cards in the space of a minute, including a second booking for Hayden Cutting, who was sent off in the 82nd minute.

Despite being down to 10 men, the black and blue continued to dominate as Bueti scored two goals in stoppage time to put the icing on the cake and completed his hat-trick.

The clash was as a fiery contest with nine cards handed out over the 90 minutes.

BLUE LAKE 5 d MILLICENT UNITED 0

Blue Lake claimed a comfortable win with a five-star performance on the road on Sunday.

Shar Nay Than opened the scoring for the Rangers in the 28th minute in what was the only goal of the first half.

United remained in the contest after the opening hour but the final 30 minutes saw Blue Lake run riot.

Meereh Htoo made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute before the visitors scored three goals in a matter of minutes to put the game beyond doubt.

Shar Nay Than found the back of the net in the 80th minute before Gay Ni Hsar scored two minutes later.

Shar Nay Than then completed his hat-trick in the 83rd minute to seal victory for the Rangers.

GAMBIER CENTRALS 3 d NARACOORTE UNITED 0

The closest match of Round 4 took place at Naracoorte, where the reigning premiers came away with the three points.

In a relatively low-key affair, Sam Shoemark opened the scoring in the 20th minute before adding his second in the 60th.

Leandro Rodriguez then sealed the win for the Lions with a goal in the 75th minute.

Looking ahead to Round 5, Centrals and Blue Lake will face-off in what looms as an exciting battle at MGA Park.

Inter will look to make it five wins from five when it hosts Naracoorte and Millicent United and Apollo will face-off at McLaughlin Park.
