IT has been a long time coming, but one of Port MacDonnell Netball Club’s most tenacious players notched up 200 games on Saturday.

Kelly Millard took 30 years to reach the milestone, starting back in 1990 in juniors.

She progressed to 15 and Under in 1995 an earned runner-up best and fairest in her first year of competitive netball.

In 1997 she won best and fairest and a premiership in her last year of 15 and Under.

In 1998 she again wins runner-up best and fairest, this time in 17 and Under.

In her first season of seniors, after finishing minor premiers, her B Reserve team lost the grand final.

Millard then took a break to be married and have her four children, returning in 2010 and 2011 to coach the 15 and Under girls.

Back on the court in 2013, Millard again won best and fairest for B Grade and B Reserve in consecutive years, also topping off 2013 with a B Grade premiership.

She capped off a great year in 2014 with Mid South East runner-up best and fairest in B Reserve.

Millard was on the committee in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and coached the Junior 1’s in 2014.

After yet another break she returned to the B Grade for seasons 2021, 2022 and has again been a pivotal part of the B Grade side in 2023.

Millard has been lucky enough to play with her daughter Mackenzie in B Grade last year and is currently playing with her eldest daughter Montanna in the B Grade this season.
