KALANGADOO made the short trip across to Nangwarry and came away with a big win in Round 4 of Mid South Eastern football.

It was one-way traffic from the outset as the Saints were held goalless in the opening term and gave up seven majors as the Magpies took a 46-2 lead at the first break.

Nangwarry limited the damage in the second term as it kicked its fist goal of the game and restricted the visitors to just three goals for the quarter.

However, with a 61-point lead at half time, the Magpies began to spread their wings and notched up another six goals in the third stanza to take an emphatic 94-point lead with one quarter to play.

The Saints were staring down the barrel of a loss of more than 100 points as play resumed for the final quarter but the hosts fought back and kicked three goals in the quarter.

Kalangadoo was also restricted to 4.1 (25) which was enough for Nangwarry to avoid the 100-point defeat as the final siren sounded with the score 132-34.

Dylan Bromley continued his impressive form in the forward line for the Magpies as he led the way with six goals.

Ben Gregory put in a dominant performance to be named best on ground and kicked five majors, while Ben Mules kicked three goals in his 200th A Grade game for Kalangadoo.

Ethan Maney kicked two majors, while Brad Male, Sam McManus, Tye McManus and Jayk Norman all bagged one goal for the Magpies.

For the Saints, ruckman Jack Pudney was best on ground after a hard-fought effort.

Andrew Hyland, Brodie Parsons, Joel Virtanen and Josh Weedon all bagged one goal each for Nangwarry.
