ROBE v HATHERLEIGH

Hatherleigh travels to Robe this weekend for Round 4 of Mid South East netball.

Hatherleigh’s Erin Watson and Robe’s Annie Regnier will fight hard for the ball through the court, with their ability to chase up loose balls and create turnovers pivotal.

The Roosters have a strong attacking line up and can utilise Tori Gluyas, Halle Carter or Demi Carter within the circle.

Eagles Lara MacGregor and Elly Redden will need to work overtime to get hands over balls and pull in any potential rebounds.

Rosie Nettle will work hard outside the circle for Hatherleigh and will need to put pressure on passes to force errors from Robe’s attack line.

Robe defenders Emma Grant and Georgia Perkins move well in the circle and will make it difficult for Eagles goalies.

This game will be a tough one, with both teams well in the fight.

MOUNT BURR v PORT MACDONNELL

Mount Burr host the Demons this weekend in what could be a close match-up.

Both teams sport strong rosters this season, with accurate goalies down both ends of the court.

Megan Hein and Kori Collins move well in the circle for Port MacDonnell, but there will be plenty of pressure from Mozzies Olivia Dean and Megan Thiele, who use their height to advantage.

Demons Alysha Coon and Alana Berkefeld are able to create turnovers with ease and will provide a challenge for Mount Burr goalies.

However, Caitlyn Payne and Laura Schultz combine well through the Mozzies’ mid court and will keep the pressure on with their ease of delivery into attack.

The game could go either way, with the winner to edge a step closer to a top-four position.

NANGWARRY v KALANGADOO

An undefeated Kalangadoo heads to Nangwarry this weekend to play off against the Saints.

A one-sided contest is expected, with the Magpies boasting talent in all areas of the court.

Goalies Ebony McDiarmid and Abbey Duncan are able to move well together and find the space in the circle with ease.

They will be fed well by the likes of Jayde and Chloe Peacock, with the latter coming off a strong performance.

As such Nangwarry defenders Kayla Gray and Chrystal Lock will find themselves under pressure throughout the game.

At the other end Demi Hoffmeister and Kate Bizko combine well in the Saints’ goal circle, with the former shooting accurately so far this season.

Lauren Kain and Jane Auld both work overtime and will create turnovers in Kalangadoo’s defence.

The Saints will fight until the end, but the Magpies will come away with the points.

KONGORONG v GLENCOE

Kongorong faces a challenge this week when it hosts Glencoe for Round 4.

The Murphies have won both of their outings this year and so far look well-placed to have a crack at defending their 2022 title.

Glencoe goalies Jenna Paproth and Chantelle Cocks are able to read the ball with ease and are fed well from outside the circle by Donna Jaeschke.

Down the other end of the court Sarah Edwards and Chelsea Owen will create pressure and force turnovers from Kongorong’s goal circle.

For the Hawks Riley Buckingham and Emily Lightbody fight tirelessly for their team and will snatch up any missed shots or wayward passes from Glencoe’s attack line.

Rachel Perry is able to control the ball around the circle edge and will feed into Hawks goalies Tilah Buckingham and Evie Sealey with accuracy.

However, it is difficult to mount a case for Kongorong against the powerhouse Murphies and the home team should take the points.
