Atkin takes home highgun

There were 61 shooters who nominated for the most recent South East Field and Game Association sporting clays shoot at Burrungule Park.

Ken Atkin shot an impressive score of 70/75 to claim the highgun honours.

AA Grade’s Jamie Dunn and Jeremy Kent came to closest to Atkin and finished with scores of 67/75.

After a shoot-off, Dunn took home the AA Grade win from Kent.

Bill Dyson took out A Grade with a score of 61/75 after a shoot-off with Chris Von Stanke Jnr.

A close contest took place in B Grade and Simon Withers claimed a one-target win over Stephen Bellinger.

Michael Gates won C Grade, while Jack Dyson won the sub-junior competition in a thriller.

Christopher Wright took out the win in the senior competition with a score 67/75.

Leigh Dunn was a close runner-up just one target behind, while Anthony Sellars rounded out the top three.

Neville Kent scored 62/75 to win the Veteran’s category and Tash Bellinger won the women’s competition.

Shakielle Von Stanke won the junior competition with a score of 59/75.
