MCNAMARA Park was the focus for all things classic on the weekend with the Laurie Fox Memorial Classic Master of Mac Park event.

The meeting included all types of classic machinery, from the smaller 125cc bikes to the larger single and twin cylinder machines.

A major focus was the Laurie Fox Memorial sidecar events, held on Sunday afternoon.

In the Period 3, 4 and Trials Lightweight category, Roger Greenhalgh piloted his Husqvarna outfit to first place, ahead of Neville Lush’s Kawasaki, with David Wain bringing his Triariel 650cc machine home in third.

The big boys contested the penultimate event of the weekend, the sidecars Period 5, plus Formula 1 and 2 feature race, with some fast action on display to honour Fox.

Craig Lock and Chris Warren teamed up to claim the honours by just a few seconds over Grant Howarth and Lee Banks.

Tony Shanks and Jason Whitefield rounded out the podium, ahead of the always-fast Jones boys.

Stephen Jones teamed up with Tyler Harris for fourth place, ahead of David Jones and Rebecca Boggiano in fifth.
