AFTER a consistent effort across the night, Todd Moule claimed the Sprintcars Allstars A Main race at the Borderline Speedway on Saturday night.

A strong field of 28 cars converged on the clay oval to contest Round 11 of the series, with plenty of top competition for Moule to face, including Limestone Coast driver Scott Enderl, keen to make his mark on his home track.

In the opening heat Moule started out of sixth place and managed to climb up two positions, with just one retirement.

Eventual third-placed Ben Morris started out of pole in his first heat and remained at the pointy end to claim the maximum points.

On his way to an A-Main runner-up, Brenten Farrer held his third place in his heat, to finish behind Paul Solomon and Brendan Quinn.

In the following heat Enderl showed he had plenty of pace, up against the likes of Chad Ely and Steven Caruso.

He started out of third and moved up one position, holding off Ely as the laps wound down.

From there it was a matter of looking to gain maximum points possible for a strong starting position, with Moule starting the A Main feature race out of fourth place, ahead of Morris in fifth and Farrer in ninth.

Enderl started out of seventh place, with plenty of strong opposition chasing, including Ricky Maiolo and Steven Caruso.

By the chequered flag Moule did enough to claim the honours from Farrer and Morris, with Enderl in fifth place after a strong drive.
