Pristine conditions greeted last week’s night owls competition at the Millicent Bowling Club.
Only four weeks of competition remain for the season and the leaderboard is heating up.
Rovers and Sparkies are on equal points, while only five points separate Maccas and The Pups and six points between Here 4 Beer and Black Beetles.
Last week’s round had Awesome Foursome’s Allan Webster, Derek Bowering, Denis Clifford and Dave Turner win Red Division, claiming the honours over Birdies 18+18.
Other winners were Somerset Legends 17+3, Untouchables 17+3, Rovers 16+1, Max’s Four 17 and Jack Attack 15.
Blue Division’s Somery Seniors of Ian Grosser, Jeremy Kenny, Robert Leslie and Craig Stewart defeated Lion Rams 20+14 to win the grade, while other winners were Maccas 19+8, Rotary 18+18, Acky’s Owls 18+11 and Bits and Pieces 17+3.
The White Division saw Graham Reilly, Di Taylor and Trevor and Bradyn Reilly from Here 4 Beer defeat Lion Cubs 20+22.
Beanz Team 19+12, Black Beetles 18+7 and Lions Roar 16+7 were also winners on the night.
Touches for the night went to Sam Kent (The Pups) 3, Ray Doecke (Maccas) 4, Bill Chapman (Black Beetles) 3 and Ian Johns (Try Hards) 3.
