THERE were 22 South East senior tennis players who travelled to Lucindale on Sunday to participate in a tennis challenge with eight Murray Bridge players in good conditions.
The annual Challenge Cup was strongly contested and was won by Murray Bridge.
Leanne Graetz and Michelle Saye claimed victory in the women’s competition, while Barb Williams and Trish Douglas were runners-up.
In the men’s competition, Ray Rossiter and Alan Schultz were victorious, while Mikael Saye and Peter Brennan were runners up.
The next event will be held at the Blue Lake Sports Park at 11am on March 19.
