The South East Women’s Representative side will return to action on Sunday when it hosts the Warrnambool and District team.

South East heads into this game off the back of a 33-run win over Hamilton on December 18.

During that clash, the South East’s Laura Chester put the visitors to the sword as she scored 71 runs and blasted shots all around the park.

She was supported by Kathryn Vine and Fiona Young, who combined for 64 runs between them.

These three players all dominated in the South East Women’s Cricket League this year, with Chester the standout as she led North to premiership glory with 72 runs in the grand final.

With the ball, Chester and Anna McGregor were the standout performers in the Hamilton clash as they took three wickets each.

Sharnna Mansell, Alysha Coon and Lauren Smart all took a wicket as well in the last game and will eb payers to watch for the hosts.

Warrnambool heads into this contest off the back of a dominant 85-run win over Hamilton on Sunday.

Jacque Dickson and Tara Elliott were key players with the ball, while Jasmine Bowater and Shannon Johnson led the way with the bat.

Johnson scored 68 runs off 41 balls last time out and hit an impressive 14 boundaries, while Bowater held down the fort with an unbeaten 45 off 88 deliveries.

Both sides will head into this game with confidence after strong wins over Hamilton and a close game could take place this weekend.
