The South East Field and Game’s monthly shoot was held recently at Burrungule with 79 competitors involved in the event.

Jeremy Kent continued his strong run of form as he claimed the Highgun in the 75-target event.

Kent missed just two of his 75 shots in a very impressive performance.

AA Grade was won by Ron Rhook, with a score of 71/75.

A shoot-off was required to determine A Grade, where Dane Hastings edged out Tim Widdison to claim the honours.

Michael Lamond’s 61/75 was enough to claim victory in B Grade, while Scott Fleming took the honours in C Grade.

A shoot-off was required to separate Jack Dyson and Kain Ashby in the Sub-Juniors category after the pair both scored 61/75.

Following the shoot-off it was Dyson who claimed first place.

Bruce Oakley defeated Christopher Wright and Leigh Dunn by two shots to claim the Senior’s honours.

In the Veteran’s category, it was Geoffrey Lowe who was victorious with a score of 66/85.

Tasha Bellinger won the Women’s competition and Declan Wright was the winner in the Juniors.

The South East Field and Game’s next shoot will be on October 23 at Burrungule Park.

This will also double as the second leg of the Inter-Club Challenge with the Mount Gambier Gun Club.
