THERE were 76 competitors who nominated for the South East Field and Game’s recent English Sporting Clays 100-target event at Burrungule Park.

The weather conditions were near perfect as Jamie Dunn claimed the Highgun with a score of 95/100.

Daniel Ashby put in a strong performance to claim the AA Grade competition with a score of 94/100.

Ron Rhook narrowly missed out on the win, after he shot 93 targets, while Ken Atkin rounded out the top three with a score of 91/100.

Chris Von Stanke Jnr put in an impressive performance in A Grade where the top three all tied with 87 targets.

Michael Brilley and Ben Hastings were the other two competitors to score 87/100 in A Grade.

Graeme James defeated Jack Altschwager and Peter Hendy to claim B Grade, while Scott Fleming and Jordan Mervart both scored 73/100 to top C Grade.

Arther Rawlinson claimed third place with a score of 58/100.

Shakielle Von Stanke put in a dominant performance to claim the Sub-Junior competition, with a score of 80/100.

Noah Von Stanke-Dowie and Jack Dyson both scored 64/100 to finish in the top three.

The Senior competition went down to the wire as the top three was separated by one shot.

Scott McIntyre claimed the win with a score of 87/100, while Chris Wright also scored 87/100, ahead of third-placed Bruce Oakley with a score of 86/100.

John Vandooran impresses in the Veteran’s category to win by two shots, ahead of Geoffrey Lowe and Rolf Bugden.

Tasha Bellinger put in an impressive performance to claim the Women’s competition to claim the win with a score of 84/100.

Rebecca Kober was runner-up with a score of 70/100, ahead of Sonya Vanderhorst.

Declan Wright claimed the Junior category with a score of 69/100.
