ROBE v PORT MACDONNELL

THE Demons head down to Robe on Saturday to brave the weather against the Roosters in Round 15 of Mid South East netball.

When these two teams met earlier in the season it was a close match and Robe will look to come out on top this time after a two-goal loss in Round 6.

The combination of Alana Winter and Belinda O’Dine in the defensive circle for Port MacDonnell will put the pressure on Robe goalies Sarah Laurie and Halle Carter.

Laurie and Carter move well together in the circle, both shoot with accuracy and are fed with ease by Annie Hunter and Lucy Perkins.

Down the other end of the court Toni Gilmore’s accuracy and experience gives her team confidence and she combines well with goal attack Brooke Williams.

After a well fought game, the Roosters will aim to come away with the win to secure their place in the top four.

NANGWARRY v KALANGADOO

NANGWARRY hosts the Magpies this weekend and Kalangadoo will chase a percentage-boosting win in order to cement its position on top of the ladder.

The Saints will work tirelessly to make it hard for Kalangadoo, with Carly Ploenges and Shannon Higgins fighting to create turnovers in the defensive circle.

Abbey Duncan’s accuracy in the goal circle is a focal point for the Magpies and Nangwarry’s defenders will have to be at their best to shut her presence down.

However, goal shooter Kori Collins is also accurate and adds versatility to the Kalangadoo offence.

Reanna Wetherall and Lauren Kain in defence combine well and will look to shut down the high work rate of Nangwarry’s Ange Pratt and Tahlia Wilson.

In the end, the Magpies will be too strong and come away with the win.

TANTANOOLA v KONGORONG

THE Hawks head to Tantanoola this weekend to battle it out with the Tigers.

Tilah Buckingham’s accuracy in the goal circle, paired with the drive of Evie Sealey will mean Tantanoola’s Kate Bromley and Tayla Rowe will have to chase every loose ball or rebound.

Hawks Kate Wright and Rach Perry feed into their goalies well from outside the circle but will have to pass with accuracy to move the ball past the hands of Tigers defenders.

Tantanoola goalies Emma Gould and Jami Walker combine well together and are both incredibly accurate throughout the circle.

That means Emily Lightbody and Riley Buckingham will need to force errors and turnovers before the ball makes it into the goal circle.

Their height will help earn valuable rebounds for the Hawks, but after a well fought game, Tantanoola should claim the points.

HATHERLEIGH v GLENCOE

AFTER a loss against Hatherleigh in Round 6, Glencoe will look to redeem itself this weekend.

Sarah Edwards and Chantelle Cocks combine well in the defensive circle for the Murphies.

They will ensure any of the Eagles’ possible goalie combinations will have to work hard for every possession.

Demi Vanderhorst and Lara MacGregor will need to limit scoring opportunities for Glencoe’s Jenna Paproth and Malinda Markiewicz.

The tussle between Hatherleigh’s Georgia Hunter and Glencoe’s Chloe Pfitzner on the wing will be one to watch, as they both fight hard for their teams.

After two weeks off and players returning, the Eagles may be unsettled and will need to work overtime to get back into the swing of things.

After a tough game, Glencoe will cement its position in the top of four with a win.
