APOLLO v INTERNATIONAL

ROUND 11 of Limestone Coast Women’s soccer sees the juggernaut of International, travel to the Blue Lake Sports Park to take on Apollo.

Inter have had the perfect season to date with 10 wins from as many games and hold a comfortable eight-point lead at the top of the ladder.

Inter Boasts both the best offensive and defensive record in the competition with 48 goals for and just four against.

Apollo have been solid defensively and conceded just the nine goals this season.

They are currently third on the ladder with four wins and three draws.

This will be the third encounter between these two sides this season.

In Round 1, Inter claimed a 1-0 win and backed it up with a 3-2 win in an exciting contest in Round 6 at Casadio Park.

Ella Doody will look to continue her impressive season in front of goal where she has found the back of the net 15 times.

Daylia Daylia will be Apollo’s main attacking option and has scored eight goals this campaign.

Apollo’s Angela McDonough has been strong in goals and will look to make it five clean sheets in a row as Apollo haven’t conceded since they last played Inter.

Despite Apollo’s strong defensive run, Inter should have enough strength to claim its 11th win of the season.

BLUE LAKE v MILLICENT UNITED

Blue Lake will host Millicent United on Saturday at Malseed Park.

The Rangers have impressed this season and are in second place on the ladder.

In the first clash between these sides in Round 1, Blue Lake claimed a comfortable 5-1 victory.

Aimee Brooks and Chelsea Frost both impressed with two goals each during the first game between these sides.

In Round 6, Millicent hosted Blue Lake and the Rangers won 6-1.

Chelsea Frost starred as she scored a hattrick to help her side to a comfortable win.

She is currently the top-scorer in the league with 16 goals next to her name.

Blue Lake will also look to use Brooks and Laura Frost, who both have scored seven goals each this season.

The Rangers will once again prove too strong in what should be a comfortable win for the second-placed side.

NARACOORTE v GAMBIER CENTRALS

Gambier Centrals travel to Naracoorte and will look to put in a strong performance as the race for finals heats up.

The two meetings between these sides this season have been one-sided affairs.

In the first game, Centrals won 12-1 and backed it up with another strong performance to win 8-0 in Round 6.

It has been a difficult season for Naracoorte as it has lost every game this season, while the Lions find themselves in fourth place, with Millicent hot on their heels.

Centrals should comfortably win this game and claim an important three points to prevent United from making up any ground in the top-four race.
