INTERNATIONAL cruised to victory in Round 10 of Limestone Coast women’s soccer with a dominant performance at Casadio Park.

Inter went into the game as strong favourites and proved far too strong for Naracoorte with five different goal scorers.

Tess Andrews put in a strong performance as she found the back of the net twice.

April Hockey led from the front with an impressive captain’s performance as she scored a brace.

Evany Rex scored her third goal in as many games, while Ella Doody backed up her strong game last week with a goal against Naracoorte.

Isabella Morello scored and Inter made the most of a slice of luck thanks to an own goal as it ran out eight-goal victors and made it 10 consecutive wins for the black and blue.

Inter still holds an eight-point lead over the second-placed Blue Lake.

With a bye this weekend, action will resume on July 23 and 24, where Naracoorte will host Centrals in Round 11.

Chelsea Frost starred for Blue Lake in a dominant performance from the Rangers.

Frost scored a hat-trick to reclaim the title of top scorer in the league this season.

Her three goals take her to 16 for the season and she is now two goals ahead of Inter’s Doody.

Lauren Frost’s strong season continued as she found the back of the net for the seventh time this season.

Jasmine White also scored for Blue Lake in a one-sided contest.

The gap between Blue Lake and Apollo on the ladder has extended to seven points after Apollo dropped points in its game.

Blue Lake will host Millicent next weekend at Malseed Park as it looks to take a step closer to securing second place on the ladder.

The clash between third and fifth on the ladder ended in a goalless draw.

It was the second consecutive 0-0 draw for Apollo after the same result occurred against Blue Lake last weekend.

Apollo has remained strong defensively this season and has conceded just nine goals to date.

Only Inter boasts a better record in defence.

United are now just one point outside the top four.

Apollo will host Inter at the Blue Lake Sports Park next Saturday.
