Dedication recognised

LONG time support for Mount Gambier RSL and District Bowling Club members were recognised at the recent AGM for the club.

All committee positions were filled at the AGM, with seven certificates of appreciation handed out on the day.

Don Whitmore, David Burge, Malcolm Williamson and Carmel McQuade were recognised for 30 years of service, while John Priest, Neil Tobin and Kathleen Hearne reached their 40 years milestone.

Two life memberships were also awarded to worthy members Kevin Davids and Lynette Chirgwin.

The two were recognised for their services to the club as players, committee members and volunteering their time and efforts to the running of the club.

They were presented with their badges by club president Nancye Wilson.
