THE Blue Lake Archers took part in a rarely-scheduled Short Canberra round on Sunday afternoon.

The three distance, 90-arrow event is held over 50, 40 and 30 metres with the larger 122cm target face.

Tamika Mullans returned to the range and was as sharp as ever as she eclipsed Ben Kilsby by one point to claim the win.

The round is one of only three recognised events that have a combination of 30 metres with the 122cm face.

In Western Australia, Ian Harris rounded out his fourth and final Australian Masters Games event in the field archery round.

His strong performance earnt him his fourth medal.

His silver medal in the round was his second silver medal of the event, to add to his two bronze medals in the games.

Indoor archery resumes tonight at 7pm, while outdoor archery is at 12.30 on Sunday.

Short Canberra outdoor round, handicap scored, benchmark 900 points.

Tamika Mullan 887 (off the bow 821)

Ben Kilsby 886 (876)

Peter Donhardt 872 (771)

Paul Freeman 844 (804).
