Glencoe v Robe

Glencoe hosts Robe in Round 4 of Mid South East football this weekend, in a tough game to call.

The Murphies have suffered just one loss this season – against last year’s runners-up Kalangadoo in the opening round – and sit in third position after three games played.

The remaining two games have been tough battles, with Mount Burr and Nangwarry both pushing the Murphies for the majority of their games.

Robe has a 1/1 win/loss ratio after its two games this year and would likely think they have the measure of Glencoe.

Last round the Roosters were impressive against Hatherleigh for the first half, until the Eagles broke the game open in the third term.

It showed real intent, despite the loss, with plenty of talent to take it up to Robe this week.

This match should certainly be an intriguing contest and will provide plenty of entertainment from the sidelines.

On their home deck Glencoe should do enough to claim the points in a game which could well go either way.
