THE fun and camaraderie of Night Owls bowls continued at the Millicent Bowls Club last week, with strong friendships formed throughout the competition this season.
Skills continue to improve and touches last week went to Shaun Osmond (Bedford Butterflies) 4, Nick Waring 3, Paul Craig (Gizzies Crew) 3, Robin Thomas (Scrappers) 3, Deon Howell (Bits and Pieces) 3, Scott Bowering (Tant Tigers) 3.
Rovers claimed the win in Red division, with Mick Pedler, Steve Skeer, John Buhlmann and Rodger Buckmaster defeating Untouchables 28+10.
Other winners were Sparkies 28+9, Bits and Pieces 27+6 and Tant Tigers 26+3, with Somerset Legends 17 having a draw with Mossies 15.
Bloue division went to Birdies – Pam Packer, Janet Watson, Robin Rolfe and Mary Dawson – with a win over Rotary 30+15.
Other winners were Try Hards 29+10, Lions 28+8 and Grand Hotel 28+3, while Awesome Foursome won on a forfeit from X Factor 27+0.
Beanz Team – Ted Hamilton, Arthur Vernon, Rhonda Slape and Ian Slape – claimed White division with a 29+12 win over Mayurra Mob.
Other winners were Sunnies 28+12, Miss Fitts 26+10, Scrappers 26+2 and Lion Cubs 26+1.
