Barb Milstead, Colin Potter, Eddy Smith and Ron Cox won a tight contest 24-22 to return home with two premiership points.

The Blues currently sit in fourth spot and await Mount Gambier RSL Red in Round 11.

A trip to Penola was the venue for the Division 2 trying to get their season back on track.

This venue has not been kind to Mount Gambier bowlers and the Round 10 clash was again an unsuccessful trip.

The rink of Neil Blakey, Maryka Heaver, Perria Davis and David Babb scored a 21-20 win over a strong local rink skippered by Scott Degenhardt.

The result proved to be decisive as Ron Cox’s team scored a narrow one-shot win and the John Kentish led rink played out a 23-23 draw to secure second spot on the ladder with four games to be played.
