AS Christmas fast approaches, so does the end of the Millicent Bowls Club’s Night Owls competition for the year.
Last week again saw plenty of touches, with Ian Slape (Beanz Team) 5, Ross Warren (Jack Attack) 4, Robin Thomas (Scrappers) 3, Nick Waring (Gizzies Crew) 3, Pam Packer (Birdies 3) and Nigel Ross (Sunnies) 3 all on target.
In Red division Rovers (Mick Pedler. Stephen Skeer, John Buhlmann, Rodger Buckmaster) defeated the Beetles 28+12 to claim the honours.
Other winners were Tant Tigers 28+6, Untouchables 28+3 and Max’s Four 27+7, with Jack Attack and Sparkies having a draw 18 and 14.
Blue division went to Grand Hotel (Jamie Vearing, Bill Chapman, Jim Taylor, Chris Vearing) who defeated Rotary 30+16.
Other winners were Birdies 29+12, Maccas 28+17, Somery Seniors 27+2 and Awesome Foursome 25+3.
In White division Lions Roar (Ralph Domaschenz, Dave Turner, Simon Laslett, Steve Ponsett) defeated Mayura Mob 28+11.
Other winners were Miss Fitts 28+8, Gizzies Crew 28+5, The Pups 27+2 and Sunnies 25+5.
