GUSTY windy weather greeted 34 players at the Millicent Bowls Club last week for a 2-4-2 competition over 20 ends.
Peter Bateman and David Reichelt held up to the conditions best to claim the honours with a score of 31+16, after winning 11 of the 20 ends.
Second place went to the team of Peter Dunnicliff and Eddie Hann with a score of 31+5.
