THE 2020 Mount Gambier Greyhound of the Year award was presented to the connections of Perseverance at last Sunday’s Tara Raceway meeting.
Perseverance, an April 2018 daughter of Dyna Double One and Miss Freelove, raced on 40 occasions at Tara Raceway throughout the year for 10 wins, eight seconds and four thirds for a total of 60 points.
She defeated Dyna Carnie (12, 4, 3) and Keen One (11, 6, 2) by one and two points respectively.
Perseverance was locally bred (by Tracie Price), is locally owned by Michael Robinson and locally trained by Dean Fennell.
