TOP CLASS: South East seniors tennis Peter Barry, Trish Douglas, Helen Rathjen and Bill Chapman were front-runners at the competition played at Blue Lake Sports Park.

TRISH Douglas and Peter Barry won their respective grades in Sunday’s South East senior tennis round at Blue Lake Sports Park.

Douglas defeated Helen Rathjen to be crowned the women’s champion in warm conditions.

Barry overcame a challenge from runner-up Bill Chapman to win the men’s division.

The next South East tennis round will be held at Mount Gambier’s Corriedale Park on April 14, starting at 11am.
