THE Limestone Coast Football Association will have a donation of $700 made available thanks to the most recent act from the Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund.

The association will receive the donation – $350 each – on behalf of nominees Harry Wilson and Tyler Michielan, who will make the trip overseas in December for the Ultimate Fiji Cup.

Both players were selected in the Under 17 state squad and will have the chance to represent South Australia on an international level.

The South East talents will join Under 15 boys and under 17 and 15 girls also from the Limestone Coast, who were selected in their respective divisions.

Locally Michielan plays for International in the LCFA, where he has spent plenty of time on the senior stage.

This saw him part of the premiership Inter A Grade team, but a broken arm late in the season saw him sidelined for the finals campaign.

Wilson plays for Apollo and is also no stranger to the A Grade competition, as he has been a starting player all year.

Though Apollo’s senior side did not make the grand final, Wilson tasted success in the Under 17’s, which saw him play in a premiership side with an undefeated record for the season.

Once again the fund is pleased to make this donation available to assist the local athletes in their international endeavour.
